wxShot checks ntfstool.com once a day and tells you when a new version is out; Settings has a Check for Updates button too. To update, download the new DMG and drag wxShot over the old copy in Applications. Your settings are kept.
macOS can forget the Screen Recording permission when an app is replaced. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Recording, remove wxShot with the minus button, add it back (or switch it off and on) and reopen the app.
wxShot is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it normally. If you are ever warned, make sure you downloaded it from this site or from the official GitHub release.
Verify your download in Terminal with shasum -a 256 wxShot.dmg.

Release notesMissing a feature or found a bug? Tell us in Settings > Send Feedback, or write to service@ntfstool.com. wxShot keeps improving from what people ask for.
Send feedbackNo screenshot, text or file leaves your Mac. wxShot asks ntfstool.com once a day whether a new version exists (it sends only its own version number). Optional anonymous “still in use” pings (install id, version, system, language, whether WeChat is running) go out at a few checkpoints in the first month. Switch the pings off in Settings.
Quit wxShot, then drag it from Applications to the Trash.
